You are going to have to be strong willed to be able to separate home and business so that one won't interfere with the other. Your schedule will probably have a strong emphasis on the separation of home and business.

Being your own boss requires a lot of self motivation and a great deal of focus to stay on the path in which you have set for yourself. Your normal everyday activities at home will be your biggest distractions for your business and that is where your focus will have to be the strongest.
